When our chakra and energetic heart system is balanced we feel happy and healthy. It is clear to see that maintaining balanced energy flow through the chakras makes it possible to keep physical dis-ease and emotional di-stress away.

Other than conscious emotional control, there are many methods for balancing the chakras. These include crystal healing, color and sound therapy, flower essences, meditation, chakra balancing, guided meditations, reiki therapy, splankna therapy, physical exercise, yoga, tai-chi and Chi-gong.

If the chakras are unbalanced, or present with blockages, then it will manifest in the physical body as emotional stress and illness.

The chakras have their own frequency and keeping these frequencies balanced and in harmony is essential in order for you to function properly. When your chakra frequencies are in harmony, you will feel connected with yourself and others. When you are “out of tune” and your chakra’s are “off balance,” many problems can arise. Things that might seem trivial, such as a change in weather, stress, or an even sudden bump are enough to throw your energetic balance out.

Scientific tests show that unpleasant sounds actually increase our blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rates. On the flip side, sound frequencies can also have a positive effect on us and we can stimulate each chakra individually by listening to its own special frequency in music. Incorporating the use of the particular chakra frequencies is the most direct form of chakra balancing and stimulation.

The benefits of meditation are almost infinite. I could probably write a whole book on the benefits of meditation alone. From decreasing your stress and anxiety to increasing your intelligence there are numerous studies and testimonials to prove the overall health benefits to quieting the mind and meditating for a little while each day.
